Browns Canyon has often been called the quintessential rafting trip in Colorado. It is the most popular destination for whitewater rafting in the country.

This full day trip offers incredible Class III rapids that will excite beginner, intermediate, and advanced rafters alike. The railroad tracks that run alongside the river give the distinct feel of an old Western film. The trip will feel timeless as you float past tunnels carved into mountain faces and cabins along the riverside. The float into the canyon takes you past unique granite formations and allows some warm up time before entering the rapids. This is a full day adventure complete with stunning scenery and continuous Class III rapids such as Zoom Flume, the Seven Stairs, and Seidel’s. The trip includes a riverside lunch and all necessary equipment.

This is a staff favorite and we believe it to be our best trip. If you a have full day to dedicate to rafting, this trip is a must. This is the perfect trip for adults and families looking for an unforgettable rafting experience. Trips run daily.

  • What’s Included

The raft trip, shuttle, splash gear, wetsuit, snacks and lunch (when specified). Photos are not included but can be purchased online immediately after the trip!

    What to Wear Rafting

We suggest wearing quick-drying clothing such as non-cotton shorts and t-shirt and/or a bathing suit. Also important are sunscreen (you will be rafting at nearly 9,000 feet where the sun is intense!), sunglasses with retaining device, waterproof camera, and old sneakers or sandals with a heal strap. Bring a towel to dry off with and a change of clothes for your ride home.

We provide splash gear on all of our trips, and wetsuit, helmet, and wetsuit booties when appropriate.
